Questions
Which systems can I move from?
Any system that can export a spreadsheet as CSV or Excel. People commonly move from mall and consignment systems such as Quail, AntiqueSoft or SimpleConsign, or from a spreadsheet they keep themselves. If you are not sure how to export, email us and we will help you find the button.
What comes over?
For a mall: booth numbers, vendor codes, vendor names, email and phone, monthly rent, commission and booth sizes. For a booth vendor: items with their names, prices, costs, categories and the dates they were added and sold. Photos are added afterwards from your phone.
What about my past sales history?
Past register sales are not imported. BoothNest starts your sales history on the day you switch, so keep your old system's reports for the months before.
Do my vendors have to do anything?
No. Vendors keep their vendor codes and you ring up their items the same way. Vendors who want to track their own booth can start a BoothNest account, and sales from your register show up there automatically.
Does switching cost extra?
No. Importing is included in every plan and in the 14-day free trial.
What if my system is not supported yet?
Tell us which system you are moving from. If BoothNest cannot read its export yet, we will add support for it. You can also pick your system when you upload a file, so we see which ones people use.
